HOW IT WORKS

Program Structure

Every BLMA session is intentionally designed to build mentorship, community, and
character — delivered by people who understand our young men.

1

Weekly Sessions
Focused on mentorship, guided discussion, and real skill-building — not lectures.

2

Expert Facilitation
Led by trained educators, mentors, and community leaders with lived experience.

3

Culturally Rooted
Curriculum honors Black and Latino identity, history, and community values.

4

Student Voice
Young men are active participants — not passive recipients — in every session.
