Black and Latino Male Achievement (“BLMA,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a nonprofit, tax-exempt organization operating under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, dedicated to empowering Black and Latino young men in the Memphis, Tennessee community through mentorship, academic excellence, and culturally rooted leadership.

This Privacy Policy describes how BLMA collects, uses, stores, protects, and shares information obtained through our website located at blmaleaders.org (the “Website”) and through our program-related activities. This Policy applies to all visitors, donors, volunteers, partner organizations, host site applicants, and any other individuals who interact with our Website or submit information to us.

General Contact Forms: 
Name, email address, phone number, subject of inquiry, message content

Host Site Application Form: 
Organization name, contact person name/title, email, phone, mailing address, estimated student participants, preferred program dates

Donation Information: 
Name, email address, donation amount and frequency
Payment information is processed securely through Givebutter; BLMA does not store credit card data

Our contact and application forms are protected by Cloudflare’s CAPTCHA service to prevent unauthorized access and bot attacks. Cloudflare CAPTCHA analyzes your behavior to verify you are human.

BLMA uses Complianz, a WordPress plugin that manages cookie consent and ensures compliance with international privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA, ePrivacy Directive).

Donor records: 7 years (IRS compliance requirement)
Website analytics: Aggregated, anonymized for up to 26 months
